El Waikiki Aquarium, fundado en 1904, es el tercer más antiguo acuario público en los Estados Unidos. Una parte de la Universidad de Hawaii desde 1919, el Aquarium está situado junto a un arrecife de coral que viven en la costa Waikiki.
